The Chemistry Alumni Association, Comilla Victoria Government College, Cumilla, Bangladesh its journey in 2014. The initiative to form the Alumni Association was taken to organize the former students of the Chemistry Department of this institution and to assist in the development of the department and the career development of current students. To provide an organizational structure to the organization, an ad hoc committee was formed with senior alumnus Professor Md. Merajul Islam as the convener and Dr. Md. Abdul Quddus as the member secretary. This committee organized the first conference “Fullerene” on 25 December 2022.
With the help of the ad hoc committee, the second reunion “Reactivate” was held on 23 August 2025. The first full committee of 31 members was formed and Professor Md. Abdul Wahab was elected as the president and Dr. Md. Abdul Quddus as the general secretary. This committee was formed as a continuation of the ad hoc committee. Chemistry Alumni Association has an approved constitution.
